Default First gas setup need help!!!!

Hi guys,

I am getting into giant scale r/c.
Thinking of getting the edge 540 by minicraft here in India see link

http://paylessflymore.com/product.as...=Giant%20Scale

I am a little confused on what engine to go for

1) super tigre G2300 Or G3200
2) Os 160fx
3) Zenoah G23 or G38

The site says to put an 120 -150 2 stroke glow..

do you think a 78" wingsplan edge will take the weight of the gas engine without much change in wingloading..

wat say...

For the price of a Glow engine that size, not to mention it's fuel consumption, I would go with a small gasser.

Try something in the 35cc range

I went against everyones suggestion and put a 42 CC US engine in my PT-19. They all said it would't lift it. It is one of the best flying, coolest sounding birds I have ever flown and it does some awesome stuff in the air. I am glad I did it. go gas, you will like it. Look at the DA engines. A little over kill, but it is light. I am putting one in a plane about that size and it is working perfectly.
