Default Can I use Li-Po cell phone batteries

I have access to many, many brand new cell phone li-po and li-ion batteries.(3 month old stock from a place going out of business) I'd like to know if there's any possible aplication in RC. I don't have one right now, but I'm supposed to get samples soon. At that point I'll post pics and specs as best I can. I'm told they average 2-4 volts, and 1000 to 1500 mah, and are sized to fit cell phones. Some are in battery cases, others are raw cells. I figure they can either be for park flyers, or maybe even reciever power supplies. Anybody use them before?

More than likely, they are too small, wires are too thin and they won't have enough power. Unless its a very large cell phone, the batteries will be way too small.

Ok, I'll check them out soon and figure out if they will do anything. Thanks

Last year went to an electronics swap meet, and Mr. Batery had a huge stock of Li-ion battries for sale that were intended for obsolete telephones. They were rated at 6 volt, just under 3000 MAH. Sold them at $3 each. Then he took off for the Las Vegas show, took along unsold stock. There he sold every single one he hauled in at $4 each the first morning there. Then had nothing to sell for net three days.

They work fine here in park flyers, but fellows had troubles in soldering on connectors to the fine gauge wires. But at $3 each, there were zero attempts to return. No specs in recharging, so that has been hit and miss there too.
