whats the best way to paint foam? latex paint?

I use light coatings of Krylon's Fusion.

Us yanks have not the foggiest what "household emulsion" would be.

What the heck is that? Sounds like somethin' you'd clean the toilet wid.

I HAVE USED KRYLON H 2 O ON ELECTRICS..I DONT' KNOW ABOUT THE FUEL PROOF CHARACTERISTICS OF IT ..IT HAS A REAL GOOD SHEEN ALMOST A GLOSS TO IT..

I HAVE SPRAYED REGULAR LATEX WITH SPRAYING EQUIPMENT AND A FRIEND EVEN BRUCHED IT ON HIS PLANES.FOLLOW THE FINAL PAINT COAT WITH 2 COATS OF WATER BASE URATHANE VARNISH FOR FUEL PROOFING..

Krylon fusion will melt foam. I think light dustings of it are okay, but iff you appply it normally, it can melt.

I called up Krylon and they said the only paint the is foam safe, are the small can's named "shorts".
