Default JR Reciever help

I was just given a full JR 6102 setup. I am a Futaba person and have a question on which way the plugs go in. On the Futaba the plugs only go in one way, but the JR they can go in either way. What I would like to know is what color wire goes to the top of the reciever?
Thanks

John

There are actually bevels on the bottom of the plug and they aren't supposed to go in backwards unless you force them. The orange, signal wire goes to the top of the case.

Thanks,

The plugs slide easily either way, that is why I was asking. Maybe I will have the RX checked out, now knowing that they should only fit one way.

Again thanks for the help.

They do slide easily both ways but only one way works.

I recently faced that dilemma too. I always used Futaba, but I bought a few JR radios for when I review stuff from Horizon (I kinda hated using their competitor's radio in their stuff)

Anyway, both radios use RED as the middle wire. Just remember that Jr's dark brown = Futaba's Black (Both dark colors) and Jr's Yellow = Futaba's white (Light colors)

I'm sure you already know, but just in case don't ever use the Futaba charger in the JR Transmitter or vise-versa. Bad!
