Just pick your size. The plans from Cleveland are normally quite detailed, however, they were originally designed for rubber power, so some beefing up in the nose section and possibly the main spars will be needed.
I did the Bellanca Airbus from them. I added some 1/8" lite ply into the fuselage in the nose and used spruce for the main spars. Plane flies very nicely.

RE: Halls Bulldog Racer
Back around 1987, give or take, someone had at least a 1/3 scale Bulldog (perhaps larger) at the Ida Grove get together. Have a few seconds on video tape of it somewhere, Looked awesome! I think that may be my next project!

RE: Halls Bulldog Racer
Here's a build thread for a HALF scale:
http://www.rcscalebuilder.com/forum/...?TID=4212&PN=1
Has contact info for plans and might be otherwise worthwhile to look at....

RE: Halls Bulldog Racer
First of all, let me just say that the rcscalebuilder thread of the 50% Hall's Bulldog Racer is the most fantastic build I've seen. You owe it to yourselves to visit the sight and see what masterbuilders can create.
Secondly, I've contacted Gary Neill (son of Don, now deceased), and he will have his father's 1/3 scale plans of Hall's Bulldog Racer printed and shipped for $75.00. He says there are (3) sheets 36"x60" with some construction notes made by his father. This was the plane flown at Byron's several years ago. These plans were also the basis plans for the 50% project in the UK.
Should receive my plans sometime next week and will look them over and give you a heads up if you like.

Take-off is optional.....landing is mandatory

RE: Halls Bulldog Racer
Markerbeacon,
I just tried the site again and it's working. You're trying the site listed by flianbrian, right? There is a sign-in process to rcscalebuilder.com requiring the usual name and e-mail, etc., but the suggested $20.00 is not mandatory. Also, be prepared for a very slow response to forum changes in this site----they claim it's because of several server switches necessary to hop from place to place.
Gary Neill is mentioned in the build-up, but he doesn't live in the UK, rather Lincoln, NE. His phone number is 402-435-0772 just in case you're searching for 1/3scale plans for the Bulldog.
Keep working on the rcscalebuilder site--the 11 pages of pictures and narrative of the 50% scale Bulldog are DEFINITELY worth your effort.
