Kenner German mech. retracts
Has anyone had any experience with Kenner mechanical retracts out of Germany?

They look pretty hefty. Just would like some feedback.
Thanks,
Tim

RE: Kenner German mech. retracts
I bought a set of Kenner retracts a couple of months ago for my Kyosho AT-6.
The retracts are what you would expect from Germany, excellent quality with attention to detail.
Highly recommended.

RE: Kenner German mech. retracts
What an incredible coincidence. I too have a Kyosho AT-6 and was looking around for retracts.
I originally bought a set of Hobbico mechanical retracts for it. In the mean time, I had installed a set of Hobbico rotating mechanical retracts in a Kyosho P-40 and was thoroughly discusted.
I bought a set of robart pneumatic retracts for the AT-6 a while back to replace the Hobbico junk, and then I ran across the beautiful mech. retracts from the German manufacturer. On the site they look rather amazing. I'm not sure whether I'm going to put the robarts aside for another project and buy the special AT-6 ones from this outfit. Around 120 euros (with shipping).
I wish I had seen the site before installing the Hobbico retracts in my P-40! I had to modify the installation and everything! What a pain. This guy makes a set that would just pop in. Kind of expensive but they look like they are pure gems.
Thanks for your input.

By the way, what engine did you put in your Texan? I was thinking about either an OS 61 FX or a Thunder Tiger 61 that I have on the shelf.
