RE: Why no SIG online manuals?
Probably because it takes time and money.
If you have ever built a Sig kit, then you know how easy they are to build!
Their manuals are better than most. I have been building kits for over 30 years.
The Sig manuals have never left me scratching my head going "huh?"
Even at 12 years old, I was able to build a King Kobra without any help.
Their manuals are that good!
I can't say that for all the other manufacturers.

Probably because nobody ever got around to doing it. I used to work for a a company that sold tools and we put a lot of manuals online. If the manual is produced electronically, it's just a matter of using Adobe acrobat to convert it to a PDF and uploading to the web server. If it is an older document, not created on a computer, you can just scan it and do the same thing. If there isn't much demand though, some companies may decide it's not worth the effort. Personally, f I can download a manual for a kit, I read it before I buy. If I like what I see, I order the kit.

Chuckw, that is why I am asking , because I am like you and I am sure there are hundreds like us. The manual goes a long way in helping me decide weather or not to buy the plane. It helps me figure out the total cost as well.
firstplaceaviator, I agree their planes are easy to build. I am building a Four Star 60 right now and it is going together so easy that I thought I was doing something wrong.
Anyway I was looking at the Sig Sukhoi ARF 1.50-2.1,76.75". It's not a kit but I am a Sukhoi nut. I have a G-38 sitting around and this might be a great platform for it.

You should give them a call. Make the suggestion, to them, regarding putting the manuals online. Also ask if they have the one you want in electronic format. Maybe they'll email it directly to you.

RE: Why no SIG online manuals?
speaking of manuals I have a new J-c-10 with a 47" wingspan is there manual out there the manual that came with it is only 4 pages. The problem is that the wing has one servo, and both wing half connect to it, and I don't know if the servo sits flush or sticks out. help
