Default Futaba tx-Jr rec

Hi Guys

I fly helis and am getting a plane to morrow (second hand ) The plane has all JR servos/rec etc already fitted. My heli gear is all Futaba. My question is can i use my Futaba radio and the JR rec or do i need to change the rec in the plane to a Futaba rec? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Everything except the receiver is ok, you will have to change the receiver.

Straits,
In the US (72 mhz) market, Futaba transmitters are not compatible with JR receivers. Futaba is negative shift and JR is positive. I think I remember reading that the ‘shift’ issue is unique to the US market, but I could be wrong.

Hopefully someone from your region will see this and reply.

North American Futaba's are negative shift, all other markets are positive.

Thanks Guys

You were all correct. It all did work except the rec. I have installed a OS 46ax so hopefully she will be up in the air soon. Hope these guys were correct that a plane is a little easier than the heli!! Maiden flight on the weekend.

Regards
