Default Hitec/Airtronics Z servos and Futaba receivers

I'm really interested in the new "Futaba® 6EX w/2.4GHz FASST™ System" but all of my current servos are either Hitec or Airtronics with the Z connector. My question is will these servos plug into a futaba receiver without modification.

You can still use all of the older servos with the new the new 2.4 Mgz radios. The only thing you will need to do is ensure that you have the wiring correct for the brand of receiver you are using. Consult the attached diagram as a referrence.

That attachment diagram is incorrect as it shows the old, black Airtronics connectors. The new Z connectors are wired the same as the others. The only different ones are the Futaba, and they have a "lip" on them. Take away the lip and everybody is using the same connector. In other words, the Hitec, Z and JR will fit the Futaba servo. Just be sure you insert them correctly.

Sorry about that. I've been meaning to get back and update that graphic for a bit now, but never seem to have time

Anyway, yes the new Airtronics Z connectors are the same as everybody elses servos.
