Default FUTABA T6XA TX PCM AND THE HITEC RX QPCM 7 CHANNEL

HELLO ~ NEED TO FIND OUT IF THE FUTABA T6XA TX PROGRAMMED IN PCM MODE IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE HITEC 7 CHANNEL QPCM RECEIVER. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE FM DUAL CONVERSION BUT THE PCM I AM UNFAMILIAR WITH.

THANK YOU FOR ANY GUIDANCE. ALAN [email protected]

G'day Mate,
I believe Hitec QPCM is different to Futaba PCM, so it won't work.

THANK YOU ALLAN FOR THE THE INPUT. I JUST BOUGHT THE QPCM ON ASSUMPTION HITEC WOULD BE COMPATIBLE WITH THE FUTABA. I HAVE ONE OTHER INPUT THAT SAYS THE SAME AS YOU DO FOR THE PCM OPERATION WHICH I REALLY WANTED ~ HOWEVER HE ADVISES IT SHOULD BE FUNCTIONAL ON PPM OPERATION. WONT BE GETTING WHAT I WANTED BUT THEN ALL SEEMS NOT A TOTAL LOSS AND IT WAS ONLY $31.

I SHOULD HAVE ASKED HOW FAR THE JUMP BEFORE JUMPING ~ NOT IN FLIGHT :>(

THANKS ALLAN ~ ALAN

As you learned the hard way, each brand's PCM is totally proprietary. It appears that the new spread spectrum stuff will be the same way. If you buy a module or transmitter from "abc" you will oly be able to buy receivers from "abc" because "def" will not be compatible.
