Default AUX batterie?

Hello

Im building an ultra sport 40 and have a saito .82 GK on order it will look awsome i do have the mechanicle retracks and am thus considering running it on its own battery (the saito being 4 or so OZ light then what they recomend makes me think im going to need th whigh anyways) So know that i ahve an extra non criticle battery should i also run an on board glow driver on it? does an inverted saito need it? penifit form it? any use at all?

i welcome ALL opinions.

glow engines do not need a battery to keep them running once started if you keep having flame outs at any setting other than idle then there is a problem in your set up and using a glow driver to fix it only mask the pr5oblem with out curing it.I have seen alot of post lately refering to glow drivers and am wondering if it is the current fad or rookies that do not know how to run glow engines.any inverted engine may benifit at idle with a glow driver to help from flooding out with a mixture that is set to rich 2 strokes used to use an idle bar plug to help eliminate flame outs.after looking at the plug offerings lately they are not as abundant as in years past.

absolutly it isnt NEEDED but if im gogin to ahve he battery there should i just run the on board? i mean i already have 90% of the mass there that was the only reason for mentioning it but my question about running the retracks still has not been answered

I'd skip the glow driver. Saitos seem to stay lit just fine inverted. Just run a larger capacity flight battery if all you're looking for is the extra weight. Thta should also take care of your peace of mind issues in running mechanical retracts. You really don't need anything larger than about 800 mAh for what you're doing.
