Default Inline fuel shutoff valves

Does anyone know of a company that sells an inline fuel shutoff valve for glow fuel? Fuel tank on a plane of mine sits up higher than the carb. If I've had my engine running, and my fuel tank is full, and for whatever reason I should need to shut down the engine...fuel keeps flowing into the carb. Moving the tank is not an option. I do have another idea as far as solving this problem...but the shutoff valve is pretty much the option i'd like to go with 1st. If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it.

Just close the high speed needle valve.

I'm assuming your plane is cowled, otherwise you could just pinch the fuel line.

I Have used the B&B Smoke Valve with good results. It can also be servo operated.

HI!
Why not fix it the easy way by altering the tank position...that way your enegine will work fine ...otherwise it will not!
Pump or a regulator is an option though...but I don't use these myself.

You might try Heliproz. Here's a link to one of the types of shutoffs they have. They probably have others too. [link=http://www.heliproz.com/prodinfo.asp?number=106455]fuel shutoff[/link]

The problem with a tank that's too high is that if you fly inverted, it will lean out quickly--that's a bad time for an engine to flame out on you!!!!!!!!

Does it need to be servo operated? They are very easy to make so don't waste your money. Pylon planes do this all the time.
