Default Showtime 90 Engine

Ok so I just got my Showtime 90 and I was looking at engine options. I have 2 picked out..Saito 1.25, O.S. 1.20 Surpass III. I was also looking at the new Fuji Imvac BT24EI. My questions are, Has anyone attempted a gas engine on a showtime and if so how did it preform? If gas is out of the question, which of the two engines would be my best bet for over all performance, reliabilty and life?

The Showtime has a very narrow cowl. A gas motor would stick out all over. I have 10 flights on one with 1.25 Saito. It belongs to a buddy but I fly it more than he does. This is a decent combo. I am used to more power but I like 3D. For what he does the 1.25 is about right. The 1.25 also makes balancing easy. Everything fell into place with no CG problems.

David is right. If you're looking to 3D go with a Saito 1.50. The 1.25 will be ok for just normal flying. If money is no problem try a YS 110.

David, Does you budd use the rudderservo mounted in the tail or does he use the pull-pull set up? Also, how about some suggestions on servos?
