Anyone know where i can find a painted prop spinner?
Im trying to find a prop spinner, thats either painted, annodized, or anything of the likes. Id like it to be red and white, in a spiral shape. Such as this http://www.teachmetofly.com/images/P...staff%2003.jpg .
Thanks,
Ray
And PS, this is for my Ultra Sport 1000!!!

Sand the spinner lightly to provide some tooth. Paint the whole spinner with your light color; let dry. Cut a strip of electrical tape the width of your light color spacing, start at the tip and carefully wind the tape to the top. paint the darker color. I use acrilic latex paint and top coat it with mineral based varathane spray poly. Let the poly cure for a couple of weeks befor using an electric starter. Good luck.
If you can find a spinner in one of the colors this gets easier.

Yeah, ill either A) find a red or white ALUMINUM spinner, because i hate when the plastics start to melt/ wear in, and then paint or something along those lines the other color, or B) get a regular aluminum one, sand, and then paint. Im open to other ideas also.

Tru-Turn does sell a red anodized spinner.

It may or may not be the right shade of red. If it's close enough, it's a good start.

How about frames of a horse galloping around the spinner, so when the engine spins, it.......... you get the idea.
