Can you mix dope with 5, 10 or 30 minute epoxy? Will it still harden?

For example to get a light grey color epoxy tint it with a little black and white butyrate dope?

Give it a try & see how it goes, you will soon find out if it won't harden.

If you do a search, you can find sources of epoxy tints. West Systems has white and grey tints. Woodcraft has black and brown tints. I'm sure other colors could be found as well.

Go to your local fiberglass repair shop, they will more than likely have tints. My local one carries red, black, white, brown, blue, green, and a couple others. I've used the red, and it is fantastic. It doesn't take much to get a solid color.

I've used TESTOR's plastic paint w/ epoxy without any problems
