Hi. I was just wondering if any one out there can tell me were I can get, or if the Saito .82 carb will work on an old Saito .80? I crashed the other day thinking I didn't do any damage to the engine untill I noticed it had snaped the needle valve off and that pretty much ends the life of that carb, but I can't find a parts listing for the Saito .80, and the Saito .82 carb has the throttle on the opposite side as my old .80 and wasn't sure if it would even work. So does this mean it is time to retire or sell it for parts?

Check with Horizon Hobby on the parts. As for the carb, you can rotate it 180 degrees.

Depending on where the needle valve broke, there is a carb upgrade kit for the Saito 80 that includes the needle valve, spray bar and assorted o-rings/gaskets. I did the upgrade on my 80GK. You will have to re-tune the engine after the upgrade.
