Default tx-rx compatability

hello can i use a futaba r168 df rx with a high tech radio as long as they are on same frequency? some have told me they would never do this others say it is just fine. tx is a eqlipse 7 with single channel module that matches rx cristal. any comments greatly appriciated. thanks andrew wisc.

Futaba recievers are compatable with Hitec transmitters. Well the ppm ones are (part number ends in F) so you're good to go.
