Default engine for 1.25 lb plane

what size engine for a 1.25 lb or so airplane do I use I was thinking of a 10 or 15 size but dont know if that would be to much ? If there is a thing as to much, ha ha .

go electric then. some of the electrics i fly are around 16 oz and cant be flown as heavy as 20.

.049 is good for 1 pound more if a glider type a .10 is good for 2 pounds a .15 is good for 3 pounds

yea thats why Im putting a small engine, in I cant stand the electric stuff, thats what it used to be. I cant stand wating an hour and a half for a battery to charge. so you think a 10 size would do it ? Im talking airplane weight only so if I put a 10 or 15 size motor in it it would weight around 27 0zs.
