Question about ESC
I received no reply in the electric forum so I thought I would try here.
I was recently given a brand new "Turborix" 60 amp ESC. I will be using this with a Towerpro 3520-6 outrunner and a 4S2P 4400 15C lipo.
My question is:
The instructions state I can set the ESC for 8mhz or 16 mhz switching.
What is the reason for the difference in switching AND why would I prefer one over the other ? My other ESC are Castle and Towerpro and the instructions don't say anything about the switching rate (they are several years old )
At present I have the ESC set at the default of 8mhz.
Thanks

RE: Question about ESC
This is off the paper supplied by BP Hobbies with my ESC,
" 8KHz- For low RPM and low pole count motors".
"16KHz- For most outrunner motors".
Hope this helps.
