Default Duel rates with buddy box question

My questions is if the instructors radio has duel rates and the students does not, and the instructor flips from low to high or high to low will the student be able to fly on those rates from his radio witch does not have rate controls? Thanks for the help

The answer is, "it depends."
Some Futaba transmitters have the ability to let the student use advanced functions from the master transmitter and others do not.
My 'old' 6XAS does not have this ability.
Reading the manual to the 9C Super, I think it does.

so it can be regardless if the instructor is on full rate or low rate, the student is going to be on high rate

It depends on the radio you're using.

Many Futaba mauals are available for download from
http://www.futaba-rc.com/manuals/index.html
You'll have to read about the trainer function for the specific transmitters you have to get a definite answer.

Dual rates. Duel is a couple of guys each trying to kill the other.
