prop balancer?
Hi
can someone recomend a good prop balancer at this time im using one of those finure tipe peices of junk and need to get somthign real, any recomendations this is for balancing smaller props (under 12 inch)

Unless you use the props for extreme speed planes, the finger balancer you have is fine.
But if you want something better. get this one:

I have used this Dubro prop balancer for many years and really depend on it.

It is so sensitive that you can put a small feather on the edge of the prop and it will react to it.

I have the power point balancer, as well as the fingertip balancer. The Power point balancer as supplied is a piece of junk. The centering cones and rod are seriously out of balance by themselves[:@] All I did was unbalance the prop[:'(]
But the instructions on the power point state that you can drill out the holes on one end of the base. So that you can use your finger balancer between the magnets for a more precise balance.
I've never had prop balance problems using the modified power point.
