I bought a used HOB Texan and need to know where to ballance it.
Anyone have one of these that can give me CG, amount of throw, ect, ect.
Any other tips or info I might need, I have an OS.25LA engine on it.
Thanks,

CG,etc.
You can find your CG by; measuring the length of the cord (from leading edge of wing to trailing edge) then take 25% of that measurement. Regarding your controls throws; start out with Elevator 1/4" UP, 1/4"Down, Ailerons 7/16" UP, 7/16" Down, Rudder 5/8" Right, 5/8" Left. If you prefer metric, 1/4"= 6mm, 7/16"= 11mm, 5/8"= 16mm.

acep51,
Thanks for the reply.
The wing is tappered so the cord changes from wide at the root to narrow at the tip, so I still do not know where to measure from.
