A Yellow Aircraft Starfire would be an excellent choice. It is a very nice kit and flies super, lands easily. If you have to have a scale jet, my recommendation would be a Trim Aircraft F-86.

Go to the following website to see my Starfire. Scroll down to the last photo:

I too am hoping to get my first jet soon. I have heard that the F-86 from any company is real easy to fly. I flew a friends Byron F-16 a few years ago (he took off and landed it) and it flew real well. Actually I had the Century Jet HE-162 kit a few years ago but ended up selling it to help pay for my wedding (sigh!). The guy who flew the prototype (Lewis Patton) is a good friend of mine. He said it was real easy to fly and land. First flight the engine flamed out and it floated down like an ordinary sport plane. Kind of a weird lookin thing though.

But, I like weird things!

Why not ask the experts in the "Jet" Forum?
