CA smear on UltraCote
I have several smears of CA on my ultracote covering. What do I use to clean it?
I thought acetone but not sure if it'll damage the covering.

RE: CA smear on UltraCote
Hi!
Acetone is fairly good but it only useful when the Ca glue is fresh on the covering.
To remove old dry Ca glue use Nitro!!!
There is nothing that compares to Nitro when you want to remove Ca glue...and even using nitro takes some time. Debonder works kind of like nitro but is awfully expensive.
Nitro doesn't do any harm to plastic coverings!

RE: CA smear on UltraCote
I happened on the fact that CA accelerator seems to remove the white fog that occures on covering materials when gluing CA hinges. Acetone, probably works better; but, this is easy-handy.
