Shop recommendation in bay area please
Hi everyone,
I am visiting from Germany and am currently in San Francisco. Can anyone recommend a good hobby shop? Preferably with good prices, great selection and helpful people. I am particularily interested in the new 2.4 ghz technology, as this is not available in Germany yet. Otherwise airplanes and everything that goes with it...
All advices welcome. Thanks,
Martin

Hi Martin,
There is an advisory on the Spektrum website about the US transmitters. Even though the US manuals say the Spektrum meets EU regulations, the radios that are sold in the US do not meet European regulations.

Martin,
I live in the east bay/south bay area, so I don't know of any hobby shops in SF. About the closes one that I know of is about 40 miles south of SF.

People there tend to be friendly. Ask for Rico and he'll talk you ear off.
