Default Jack screw actuator-how to make?

Anyone know of any plans/sketches of something small that may be out there? I want one to operate a large speed brake on an SU-27. Bill

Use a sail winch servo. Slightly larger than a regular servo. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXTL59&P=ML

I made one several years ago out of a turnbuckle. The left and right-hand threads eliminated the nead for a thrust bearing.
