Default Ideas for Chevy Suburban plane rack for transportation

Couldn't find anything in the search so I thought I would ask here.

Anyone have any good ideas for a rack for the back of my suburban? I am thinking of something that would allow
me to transport two fuses, one on top of the other and two wingsets vertically on their leading edge to make
the most space for transportation.

I want to keep it light so I can easily remove it.

Thanks in advance.

You could make a custom rack out PVC pipe in the 3/4 inch range. Screw your elbows and tees instead of glueing them, so you can readjust for future planes.

Jeffrey, this is not really an answer to your specific question but to give you some ideas. 1" schedule 40 PVC plastic pipe is extremely versatile. With a combination of tees and elbows you can fabricate almost any shape that you might want. It is very inexpensive and is available at all of the do it yourself stores like Home Depot and Lowe's. You can glue the joints together with PVC cement or use long cotter pins. Dream up a shape that you want and "get er dun" as Larry the cable guy would say.

Here is a wing rack in my pickup that is removable.

You could make foam sheets that slide right into the back of the truck, my dad has a yukon and we get 2 foam sheets in (each has one plane on it)

you could make a second level... this idea works well upto about 60 inch one peice wings bigger then that and you may ahve problems..... Im going to see if i can find pictures
