i was looking for a motor. and a $60 motor cost $60 to get it here, so something from aus would be nicer on the pocket.

Totally agree. Tower provides an excellent on line service as I have purchased a lot (too much!!) from them over the last 3 years. I can't comment on Horrizon Hobbies as I havn't purchased anything from them (yet). At the moment the Aussie dollar is stronger than ever and the costs are coming down a bit. One of the best things about dealing with Tower is the UPS delivery. The best 'order' to front door 'delivery time' for me was 6 days!! Now that is fast for international orders.[sm=thumbup.gif]
I have ordered goods from local and interstate hobby stores and some have taken 3 months to get the goods. [:@] In order to reduce the postage costs, a few of us order in bulk and divide the costs.
Sometimes it is worth paying a little bit extra to know that you can have the item on your front door step in as little time as possible.
Regards
Mark
