14lb turbine - but I may as well ask for the ability to grow wings myself and hover about the house....

Well, I'm asking my parents for the RealFlight G4 simulator, Tuscon Aerobatic Shootout DVD, and countless other RC Airplane related things. Although an ARF Spacewalker would make for a good x-mas.

I asked for a Ultra sport 60 kit, .75 engine, a Super Skybolt kit with a SK 90,two recievers, and enough servos for them.

Unfortunately, I'm a little too old for my parents to indulge me. (49) But what the hey, that's what the wife of 22 years is for.

Ask them for a really nice 2.4 ghz radio system!!

Stuff for future builds...

Rx battery packs, flight packs(Rx w/ servos) and engines for future kit builds. Tx nimh pack is on my list as well.

I used to tell my wife I didn't want anything for b-days or Christmas since I was content... then I got into this hobby. Can't have too many planes.

Isn't this time of year great?!

A couple of things on the "wish list" are:

Sig Hog Bipe Kit
Saito 100
Mini Table Saw
Bunch of Balsa for scratch building

Gotta agree with somegeek, there's always something for us RC'ers!

In reply to Housedad I am in the same boat age wise (43), sometimes feel like Ralphy from "A Christmas Story" - just replace "turbine" for a "Red Ryder BB Gun". I still don't think it will work though.

In reply to Meaden, when you get to my age believe it or not you start asking for socks!!!! And you know what - you don't get them. One of the great Christmas mysteries......

You're right there! In the Harry Potter books, Dumbledoor said that he always asked for socks, but never got them. That truly is a odd mystery. Applies to plain t-shirts with pockets, too.

Hey, I'm climbing in that boat too (40.) My family just dosen't understand why I would be happier with 5 servos. I usually buy something I want, show it to my wife, and say "Thanks Honey!" Then try to smile when I open the socks.

I've found the Wish List on Tower's website works great with my wife. Big ticket items I buy myself but the site works great for the little odds and ends that are nice to have in the shop. Makes it a one stop shop for the wife.

Well welcome to the club Meaden I miss those days of sitting with my sister and going through the BIG sears catalog this time of year, circling this and that and wondering if I had been good enough to see some of what I had circled. Now it's the Tower catalog or a direction to a particular website for my wife. I think I may put a FASST module for my 9C on the Wish List...

I have a Dirty Birdy kit, a US60 kit and two Super Skybolt kits (one from Sig and the other from Great Planes). So what do I want for Christmas? The time to build them!!!.

Happy Holidays

Meaded,

I'll have to add your name to the list of other people who said they wanted it since I bought it. It's funny how things like this happen. The LHS where I bought it had the kit for years and never sold it, but now that it's mine, people are coming out of the woodwork wanting it..

Sorry, but I think I will hold onto it for a while.

Happy Holidays

I bought myself a Trex 450seV2 and asked for accessories for x-mas. HS-65mg servos, GY401 gyro and servo, RX, servo, lipo monitor, etc. I cant wait, 7 more days until she is flying and my Blade CPP goes into semi retirement.
