.60 GP SPACEWALKER AND .91 MAGNUM FS
A friend gave me a Spacewalker, ws approx 80". I think would be a .60 size.
Do you think a Magnum .91 FS would be adequate? I used the engine on a .60 Big Stik and it flew very well. I used a 13 x 6 prop.
Would this engine and a 13 x 6 prop be adequate for this plane. Magnum .91 FS owners what size props do you use?
Thanks

RE: .60 GP SPACEWALKER AND .91 MAGNUM FS
My brother and I have a bunch of Magnum 91 four strokes. We mostly use 14x6 props on them. With 15% nitro and 20% oil they turn about 10k on the ground, slightly rich from peak.
If the Spacewalker is a 60 size, a 91 four stroke should be just about perfect.

I think a .90 FS is a bit on the small side you say its about 80 inch
If you look at the sig 1/4 scale (84 inches)
Engine 2C:.90 to 1.20
Engine 4C:1.20 to 1.60
Maybe you need to step it up a bit in engine size...

I'm planning to get my Spacewalker underway very soon. The power plant I have purchased for it is a Saito 120 which is pretty much minimal.

RE: .60 GP SPACEWALKER AND .91 MAGNUM FS
I had a GP Spacewalker, it's a great scale plane. I started off with a Saito 100 in it and 14 ozs. of lead in the front to balance it. It flew but was about as exciting as watching paint dry. I pulled the 100 and installed an OS 120 FS. The difference was unbelieveable, it was now fun to fly. With the 120 I was able to remove most of the nose weight so the all up weight with both was the same - 10.5 lbs. dry.
A .91 will fly it with a lot of nose weight but it would keep my interest for maybe 2 flights.
