Default 1/4 GP Wagstaff CA Failure!!!!!!!!!

Just did the inspect on a newly acquired 1/4 G.P. Wagstaff and found the two lower ca hinges seperated on the rudder.
Didn't like this find at all!
Question is being new to the hobby:
1. Use Robart hinge point to replace ( will leave larger gap, and use new area to locate them in)?
2. Use pinned hinged Metal Dubro ( Will leave larger gap, and also relocate)?
3. Suggestions on repairs.
Before I proceeded, I felt that I needed more information and input before tackling this task.
I plan on replacing ALL CA HINGES!!!! this kind of failure is not what I want to experience while in the air.
Any suggestions and all help would be appreciated.

correctly installed robart or dubro pinned hinges leave no gap.check the classic pattern forum under bpa hinges and look at the gap[none] of the cold duck stab/elevator

Most guys who fly giant scale airplanes won't use CA hinges. They just don't hold up to all the vibration.

Use Robarts. Countersink the heads with a cone shaped dremel bit. Seal the gaps with tape or monokote when you're done.
