Wall Wart Charger Question
It's been forever since I have used a wall wart type charger. I plug in the xmitter only and am getting a red light.. on the xmitter side..... when I plug in a 4.8 v rx battery I get a green light on that side along with the red light on the xmitter side. I don't need to chg a recvr battery so I assume these chargers don't need both plugged in at the same time in order to work?
Meaning.. I can charge just the xmitter itself?

RE: Wall Wart Charger Question
The red light on the transmitter side makes me wonder if you have a problem with polarity. I know my jr raido charge jack is opposit of my futaba raido. I need to reverse the plugs on my charger to do the jr.

RE: Wall Wart Charger Question
No problem on reversed polarity. many of the wall warts have different colors for differentiating which (TX or RCR) port is being used. Some even have what looks like a single LED but are really two color units which change color depending which port (or both) are active.

RE: Wall Wart Charger Question
not really sure how I can have anything reversed... the xmitter plug is the tube type that can only fit one way...
Mike (unless I;m missing something)
Thanks

RE: Wall Wart Charger Question
I think that what Mike means is that you cannot use a wall wart that came with one brand of radio with a different brand of radio; i.e. you can not use a Futaba wall wart with a JR radio or vice versa as they have a different polarity on the transmitter connector. JR is backwards from most other brands.
