Default Whats the best way to store a plane

I have read where its best to hang a plane nose up so that the engine can keep the oil where it has better lubrication in the crank shaft, but the manual I received with my Saito 100 states to hang the plane nose down so that the oil can set on the bearings.

Can someone please explain this to me.

Thanks
Blackie

If you hang it nose up, the oil'll just sit on the backplate. Nose down, it'll sit on the bearings. Where do you want to prevent rust? That should answer it for ya.

If you hang it nose down the oil will run out of the front bearing over the carpet! Don't worry about it. Oil up the engine and store the model in the most convenient manner.

If oil gets on a part, An oily residue stays on that part. Nose up or nose down.
