There are a variety of chargers available but it really depends on your needs. The Cirrus Cycle Pro is a good field charger for TX and RX packs. It has a max of 1 amp per port and has two ports.

It's sold through Hobby People. www.hobbypeople.net

Chargers are available at every model shop in the country. Did you have any particular charging facilities in mind ?

There is a guy at our field who uses a solar panel (about 12"x6") to charge his field battery.

Could he use something like that?

I don't want to be picky but WHAT exactly are you thinking of charging ? Just Tx and Rx batteries ? E Flight power batteries ? What types and sizes ? I assume you will have a 12V battery to charge from.

There are loads of different chargers available from about £15 to well over £600 with all sorts of different features.
