Searching for tall Field Box
Hi all,
When I first got into RC back in 1983, there were a number of large field boxes in use out at my local club. All of these had a large amount of storage, a built in cradle for aircraft and folding legs underneath so you could stand up while working on your model. Some had cradles on the back for wings. These boxes were more like furniture than anything else, and were GREAT for working on your AC at home or at the field.
Anyway, I got back into the hobby, and I would like to get another box like this (my old one fell apart long ago), but all I can find in the local shops are those little boxes.
Anyone have any ideas where I can get a field box like what I am looking for?
Thanks,
Richman67

heh.
you mean this?
Got mine from http://planepals.com. Expensive, but *very* nicely crafted.
If you want to roll your own, I also found someone selling what (I assume) are the plans for this type of box. $10 + S/H. http://www.geocities.com/traviscouch/backsaver.html
