Default Neopreme vs Tygon for gassers?

Any benefits or drawbacks with using neopreme fuel lines for the entire fuel system on a gasser? I currently use Neopreme for the clunk and have burned thru tygon a few times when it touches an exhaust stack.....thanks!

Default Neopreme vs Tygon for gassers?

On my gas powered planes, I use either the yellow tygon or blue Aerotrend for the main fuel and pick-up lines. Neoprene can be used for the fill and vent lines, where they are considered "empty" most of the time. But neoprene will harden up rapidly when gasoline flows throught it - therefore no good at all for the fuel pick up line inside the tank.
