Default SPEKTRUM DX6i CHARGE PROBLEM:

I recently purchased DX6i transmitter, my problem is that my Sirius Pro Charger will not charge the transmitter batts. I have talked to Horizon Hobby, they say thare is no diode to block the charge side, I called Siruis, they have no answer either. I have used the adapter that was sent with the unit and tried to charge from the flight batt. side as recomended. If anyone has an answer I would really appreciate it, since I don't want to change chargers. Thanks

what were you charging before you got the DX6i..JR products are backwards when it comes to charging transmitters than every one else...one is negative in the center pin while everyone else is positive..I can't remeber which is which...if that is whats happening your charger saved you a radio as most chargers won't charge if the polairty is reversed.......

I used the JR adapter on the sirius that I had for other 72 JR trans. Also used the adapter supplied with the spektrum, so the polarity should have been OK. I have a Hobbico charger that works so am using it for now
