Default Turning off gear switch on JR 8103 radio

Seems that the JR support forum is dead so I'll try here.

I'm trying to run two servos for the elevator. One in the elevator slot and the other in the gear slot slaved to the elevator. Is there anyway to turn off the gear switch as this screws it up???

Thanks,

Dave

No, Use channel 7 and set it "ON" and Pot to "TRIM"

I didn't think so.

I put the second elevator servo on channel 6 slaved to the elevator and turned the flap trim to zero. I did what you suggested for the aileron on channel 7. Just have to be sure not to mess with the trim pot and leave it centered.

If you have the aileron on channel 6 then set 'wing type' to 'flaperon' and set trim pot 'off' and then it does not matter about movement of the pot.
