I don't think they have been made for quite a few years - they were last made by A&A. A long time ago, I remember the kits as having very poor wood. However, i understand that Bud Nosen may be still selling balsa or he was not too long ago.

As Paul mentioned, Bud is still going at normal Two Harbors Mich. location, but today only selling wood (in huge quantities). You can telephone them too after lunch time CST.

I see them on E-bay on a "regular" basis.

I built the A&A Aercona Champ and i have nicknamed it Sherman, like the tank. The plane itself wasn't designed very well, the models tail moment is way too short when compared to the real thing. Like someone else had said, the wood in the kit was very heavy and even when built to specs the plane was overbuilt. Anyways I have a friend that had 2 bud nosen mustangs i dont know if he still has them or not. They were 1/4 scale i think, about 30%-50% complete on construction. He is a execellent builder and I know he wanted to get rid on them, if your interested let me know I'll be talking to him at some point next week.
