Default Zenoah G26

Can anyone show me pics of a Zenoah, preferably G26 throttle arm hookup? I am stuck after mounting the engine on how I should hookup, or what to use to hookup the throttle cable to the engine. I am building a Pacific Aeromodel Gee Bee Y 1.20. I mounted the engine inverted. Thanks, Aframe2

On the bottom of the carb you will see a brass knob that sticks out and is part of the throttle assembly on the oppisite side of the throttle is the half moon with several holes. if you go to the local hobby shop and get a nose wheel steering arm and grind a flat spot on the brass knob you can attach the steering arm to it and have a nice throttle control arm. See attached pics this is done on a zenoah g20 but should be the same as a g26

aframe2,

Here is a pic of my G26 from RC Ignition. The black piece came with the engine and works very well. Just like lrglnman pic, anything that can be attached to the brass throttle arm will work.

Another method is to use a bellcrank, depending on which way the carb is mounted to the cylinder. New G-26's come with a second (black) carb isolator block which allows the carb to be rotated 90 degrees on the cylinder. You want the throttle arm (the one attached to the butterfly shaft) to be as long as possible, as it allows finer adjustment (more servo travel/less throttle movement). You can also achieve this so a lesser degree with a bellcrank.
