Default CLUB FUEL PURCHASES

Since our town does not have a LHS, our club tries to keep fuel on hand for the members. But, it's getting difficult to find a source.

If your club purchases fuel, who do you purchase it from and approximatly what is your cost per gallon including freight?

THANKS[8D]

A few years ago our club president handled a buy of about 40 cases from
http://www.magnumfuels.com
We paid the web price less a club discount (prices were a lot lower a few years ago) that I cannot remember. I think Bill talked to them on the phone to get the discount. The prices on the web site include shipping to a business address. When we ordered it was shipped to a residential address for no extra charge, again negotiated via phone because the truck freight companies charge extra for residential delivery.

We haven't done it since the one time because it is a lot of work and upfront cash to order, store, and distribute 40 cases.

Ritch's Brew is located in Houston

Give them a call and see if they offer any club discounts.

Our club here in the Baton Rouge area buys from Morgan Fuels, however I see you have
Powermaster not to far up the road from you in Elgin, Tx. You might give them a try.

I've purchased Ritches Brew by the case for the last several years at the Toledo Show. They're in Houston. Always got a good price and fuel seems excellant.

Try power master. I dont know for sure, but since you dont have a hobby shop they might be open to a club purchase. They are very supportive of the local clubs. However, if there is a LHS, they will only deal through it.

You have been getting some good recommendations.

I have used the Rich's Brew that I buy at the Toledo shows for several years. This past year I bought Wildcat at Toledo

The Morgan fuel is called Omega and they are in Enterprise AL. I used that when I was in Alabama for a few years.
