Looking for a Goldberg Decathalon (ARF) windscreen. Anyone have a crashed one that the windshield survived on?

Make a new one from scratch!

Take a piece of heavy card stock or cut up a manila folder to make a pattern. Once you your are satisfied with the fit, use it to cut a new windshield from a clear piece of acetate.

There should be a LHS around your area that has some .040" acrylic

If it was a flat windscreen I wouldn't have a problem. Unfortunately, the top of the windscreen has molded in "bumps" that fair into the wing leading edges...

Try some poster board from Drugmart and see you you can get it to conform? If you can get it trimmed to fit, you can do the same thing with plastic

I don't know if you have tried calling Tower Hobbies 800-637-6050 or not on this one. They may direct you to another part of their company when you call. This ARF is being discontinued but is still in stock at the moment and they may still have some parts for it. Goldberg's part number for the windshield is 6199 and the description reads "12069 WINDSHEILD AND SIDE WINDOWS".

Thanks DanThe windscreen is no longer available from Tower or any Tower suppliers! If necessary I'll make one but I was hoping someone had one left over from a crash...
