Default Getting scratches out of MONOKOTE ??

How DO you get the scratches out of monokote to get a perfect mirror finish? I'm talking about the fine scratches left by my cotton covered sealing iron, mostly on the high spots.

Let me know...I'll try it !

Sorry RC you are wrong. Live Wire is right. Try Mother's Car Wax. I know a professional auto body/paint man that would put finishing touches on a hand rubbed auto finish with Pledge - he preferred lemon scent but he was a-little light in the sneakers. Future acrylic floor treatment will work too if air brushed. If you mean REMOVE scratches - re-cover it.

10 foot rule.... step back ten feet if you can still see the scratches go ahead and wax away, if not your good to go!

You can't remove the scratches, you can only try to hide them. The wax shines up the covering and you don't notice the little flaws. {Kinda Sorta} Try Glass Wax!! Next covering job make sure you don't have high and low spots and have several iron socks on hand. The glue build up is usually what scratches the covering. Change the socks if you see scratches showing up. What part of NV you from?? What field or lake bed do you fly at??

I have painted every thing from VW's to PeterBuilt trucks You don't get scratches out you just cover them UP . If it bothers you that much, recover it. [&o]
