Sig Somethin' Extra ARF 40
Hi
I just purchased a used Sig Somethin' Extra ARF. I am putting a 40 2 stroke Enya on it.
I would like to know if anyone can tell me how far back from the front of the wing the CG is supposed to be for good flight?

According to Tower's listing, it is 3.5" from the LE. That sounds correct from what I can remember.

Start on the spar, but you will probably end up moving the cg 1/4 to 1/2" behind the spar.

The farther back within reason the CG, the better the performance
But there is a point reached where the plane begins to get squirrelly on approach to landing and the up-down elevator reaction starts to become more difficult.
This is when you move the CG back forward one increment.
Only move the CG 1/8" at a time
