Any unique pilot figures out there?
Just wondering if anyone out there might know where to get a unique pilot figure. I'm quite bored with the limited selection of Williams Bros., Slimline Products, and Aces of Iron (I don't want to have to paint). Anyone?

A few years ago there was someone advertising made-to-order pilot figures. The advertiser was something like "Pilots by Sharon". One of the guys who was flying where I flew bought one, had it made to look like him. It looked like a slightly pudgy copy of him.
Anyway, good luck with that one.
I was in Argentina and found some Pez dispensers with the heads of Simpson figures. I'll be having Marge fly my ½A Pitts one of these days. Already got Homer in a 40 size delta wing thing.

I have shopped for a couple of my pilot figures at Walmart in the girl's dolls. I did observe a couple of mothers hold their daughter's hands a bit tighter as this sixty year old shopped the doll section. I find these attract more interest at the flying field than the $25-$35 stern faced pilot figures the LHS and other hobby suppliers sell. The first pic is of a Barbie "beheaded" to go in my BTE Venture. The third and fourth are of a Bratz doll head for my J-3.
