Have you talked to Bob Holman? I did a few Spitfires for him years ago, and think there were details noted upon the plans on how to make a twin seater.

There is a web site called Warbird Alley, it has a Spitfire page, if you work your way thru it you will find a photo of a two seat Spit.

It is Flown by the ONLY female Spitfire pilot that I know of and has been on the UK show circuit for years. She will also do a display over a funeral - several passes finishing with an upward climbing roll.

I attended one such funeral - a very very special sendoff.
