A&M Aircraft Eng.
Hello
I have a A&M Aircraft eng. thats a 4.2 its going on my Ziroli AT6
I was cranking it through when i noticed fuel coming out of the front of the crank shaft.
So i turned it so the crank was facing up.
I put some fuel in the front of the crank where the front bearing and coil pickup is and turned it through again.
I got a lot of bubbles on the down stroke of the piston when the piston went up stroke it sucked in all the gas.
Is this normal ( i dont think so )
Is there a seal there that has gone bad?
I have Brison Eng.'s they dont do that.[&o]

Yes, there is a lip seal there. Just pop the prop adapter off and you will see it. You can remove it with narrow punch or awl. Just punch a hole in it, and lever it out. Use a deepwell socket, or small piece of pipe to put it back in. Be sure to put a little oil on the new seal.
