NEED HELP PROGRAMING FLAPERONS
Hi guys I have a spectrum dx7 and I can not for the life of me figure out how to program the ailerons to work as flaps too. Can anyone help me please?

RE: NEED HELP PROGRAMING FLAPERONS
I don't have that radio, but on my JR there are three choices for "Wing Mixing". Either "Off", "Delta", or "Flaperon". One aileron plugs into the aileron channel and one plugs into the flap channel. I have had to play a bit with which one is which, and which channels are reversed, before I got it right. Then use the flap travel adjustment to get the flaps set to the right positions, both up and down.
On my radio, this programming is done in the same way as naming the model and selecting which model you are flying. These menus come up when you turn on the radio with the programming buttons both pushed up.
Good luck. I am sure that someone with your radio will be more helpful.

Thanks for that info my receiver is a spectrum ar500 and it doesn't have a flap port but it does ave two aileron ports. Could that be the problem?

RE: NEED HELP PROGRAMING FLAPERONS
I just looked up your RX at Horizon. It is a 5 channel RX, but it has two aileron ports. I think this is only to save you a Y harness.
I think that flaps are actually channel 6, gear is channel 5. I suspect that you cannot do flaperons with this RX.
