Default 2 Pushrods to 1 Control Horn

Hi,

Im just wondering what I need to connect 2 pushrods to 1 control horn..Im using two elevator servos/pushrods.

I looked around on the Tower site, but I couldnt find a double ended ball link. I think thats what I should use correct?

Any help would be appreciated..

I am not sure i follow you. 2 push rods to one horn? If you are using two push rods for the elev then one should go to each half of the elev and each have there own control horn. There is also no need for a double ended ball link. The ball link goes on the servo end. A clevis should be used on the horn end. A ball link will only twist the control horn if used on that end.

Can you tell us what plane you're trying to setup? Something doesn't sound right.

Sure,

You can see from the picture, two separate pushrods guides coming to join at one control horn for the elevators..Im assuming they make a double ended ball that screws into itself through the horn?

Can you guys recommend a particular pushrod type (manufacturer) as well? This is my first build and it was recommended in my build thread that I swap the nylon out for solid push rods..

Heres a link to my build thread.. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_8617202/tm.htm

Thanks..

SnakeBT6, this is how I have done elevators for years. Just rap the threaded rod together to a 4-40 rod with copper wire and then solder together.

Cheers

Sullivan makes one. About a quarter of the way down on this web page http://www.sullivanproducts.com/ContSysAccMainFrame.htm , picture attached.

I would go with the method that The Ghost has shown you. Unless you mount the double ball directly to the servo arm, it will be a point of play in the linkage, not a good thing in a plane of this level. The soldered rod will be firmer and much more positive. And probably, easier to adjust.
