Default Sig Cap231EX w/OS 1.08???

Wondering if anyone has tried an OS 1.08 on a Sig Cap 231EX ARF. Would it be enough power? If not, I'm considering a MDS 1.48, but I'm hearing of a lot of problems using it in coweled planes. Any advise and/or comments are welcome.

Thats a pretty good sized plane (1/4 scale) I believe. I would recommend going to the O.S. 1.60 fx. I don't think the 1.08 is nearly enough.

I had an MDS 1.48 in my Sig Cap and it performed fine. It is now in a DP Ultimate and works well there too.. As with ANY engine, make sure that there is as much "outlet" area as "inlet" area and you should be all set.
If you go with a BCM muffler, you will end up cutting a long slot in the bottom of the cowl to allow it to slip over the exhaust outlets. This should be MORE than enough to provide proper cooling.
